Henry Ian Cusick beschuldigt van aanranding

Henry Ian Cusick, who plays Desmond on the show "Lost," is being sued for sexual harassment.

According to a lawsuit filed today in Los Angeles Superior Court, Chelsea Stone claims that while working on the show, Cusick placed his hand on her buttocks and caressed the back of her body while making moaning sounds.

She also claims Cusick "placed his face on top of [her] breasts, moving his face from side to side." He then squeezed her breasts with his hands.

According to the lawsuit, approximately twelve days after this went down, Stone was let go. ABC and Grass Skirt Productions are also named as defendants. She is seeking unspecified damages.

Cusick's rep had no comment.

Secrets of Lost #10

Video interview met Damon Lindelof

Lost nummer 3 in top 50 beste televisiedrama's in de geschiedenis

AOL heeft Lost gekozen als derde in de top 50 beste televisiedrama's in de geschiedenis.

ABC toont Flash Forward trailers tijdens Lost

ABC is so excited about its new project Flash Forward the network has plans to start marketing the show before its even officially ordered a series.

When viewers tune in for the 100th episode of Lost next week, they will be served an extra dose of mystery. Sources said ABC will launch a stealth promo campaign for Flash during the episode, in which Daniel Faraday (Jeremy Davies) will come clean about what he knows about the island.

While questions from the dense mythology of Lost probably will be answered in the episode, the commercial breaks are sure to raise a host of new ones. Viewers will see perplexing snippets that might direct viewers to a Web site.

The mystery spots will in fact be for Flash. They are said to be part of an elaborate marketing campaign for the drama, which has not been officially picked up but is quietly being positioned on ABC's schedule for next season. ABC has used several online Web sites to promote Lost over the years; sites designed to expand on various aspects of the the show's complex mythology.

Several summer programs are getting early starts next month as networks jockey to use their in-season momentum to launch post-season programs. But promoting a new show for next season in April -- a program that hasn't even been formerly announced yet -- is extremely unusual.

Fox is making a somewhat similar early move with its musical drama Glee, which will air one episode after American Idol next month before launching the show in the fall. Both Flash and Glee are expected to have marketing campaigns that help ramp up excitement for the projects through the summer.

From the moment in September the Flash spec script by filmmaker David S. Goyer and Star Trek veteran Brannon Braga landed at ABC with a series commitment, the project has been considered a perfect companion for Lost. Yet with Lost airing in midseason, ABC promoting Flash suggests the network may be considering the show for fall rather than trying to air the shows on the same night..

Based on Robert J. Sawyer's sci-fi novel, Flash starring Joseph Fiennes, chronicles the aftermath of a global event in which everyone in the world blacks out for 2 minutes, 17 seconds and has a mysterious vision of the future.

Ken Leung als tweede in top 10 acteurs klaar voor avondtelevisie

2. Ken Leung
Where you've seen him: Lost, The Sopranos, and if you're lucky, Keeping the Faith (video below)
Did you see this week's episode of Lost? As Miles Straume, Leung absolutely owned that episode, and showed people what he's capable of. The camera never gets tired of Ken--he's one of those rare talents that grabs your attention and puts it in a headlock.

Where we want to see him next: Ken Leung will never play a romantic lead or action hero, but he is perfect as an antihero. How about as a charming scamp hustling people in the big city?
Next project: As far as we can tell, he's available as soon as Lost kills off Miles :).

Klein stukje Lost in interview Harold Perrineau

In een nieuw interview met Harold Perrineau gaat een klein stukje over Lost.
TV.com: Time for some 'Lost' questions. Just to clarify, are you dead or un-dead? Are you done with the show?

Harold Perrineau: I get to clarify it? Is that what you're saying? I get to clarify something on 'Lost'? I couldn't clarify anything on 'Lost'. [laugh] As far as I know, Michael is blown up. But I know that the island is moving back and forth in time and they're doing flash forwards and flash backs. I still work for ABC, so I would wind up back on 'Lost' for a minute or two. Or not. But I have no idea. I wish I could clarify it.

TV.com: Now that you've had a bit of time to think about it, and after the fourth season, do you feel Michael was redeemed? Because he was kind of hated there for a while.

Harold Perrineau: Personally, I don't see where he was redeemed. I get that he helped out and he got most of those people off, but I still don't know if Ben is a good guy or a bad guy. So I couldn't tell you if he's redeemed. I have no idea. If Ben turns out to be a bad guy, then you know, he was a jerk for being there spying for him. But if he turns out to be a good guy, well then he did a good thing by helping. So, I don't--see, this is what happens with 'Lost'. What I wind up saying almost every time is, "I don't know". I sound like Scoobydoo, "Ardonno." [laugh]

TV.com: Thanks for talking to us.

Harold Perrineau: Thanks man.

Hurley's script

Zap2it heeft het script The Empire Strikes Back van Hurley weten te bemachtigen.
Bad times for the Rebellion, dude. After the Death Star went all bloop, The Empire got mad. Real mad. "Chase the Rebels to the ends of the Universe" mad.

The rebels, with the help of Luke Skywalker, are hiding out on Hoth. It’s colder than a frozen donkey wheel cave there. Obsessed with finding young Skywalker, Darth Vader has sent loads of spy robot thingies to find Luke for reasons yet unknown.

Exterior--Hoth. A little spy robot thingy zips through the atmosphere and crashes into the snowy planet below. That's when Chewbacca shows up and blasts it away with his crossbow laser. He shakes his furry fist in the sky in triumph.

Chewbacca: Raaar.

Han Solo: Nice work, fuzzball. Now let’s go pay off that debt to Jabba. The Hutster’s gotta be pretty peeved about that $3.2 million we owe him. Hey, anyone seen Luke? I wanna tell him that the Force will always be with him, and stuff.

Luke: Sorry, I’m a bit busy feeling the blood flow into my brain here in this monster’s cave.

Obi-Wan: Luke. Luuuuuke. You totally have to go see Yoda, Luke. You need to learn how to become a Jedi so your father will love you again.

Luke: What I totally need? A jacket. And my father is dead! Dead! That’s what you told me. Don’t you remember?

Obi-Wan: Whatever happened, happened.

C-3P0: Sirs, welcome back! Wait, what happened to you? Looks like you have a ton of Arzt on you.

Leia’s way excited to see Luke, and tries to kiss him, but fortunately she trips over a stray cable and falls to the ground. Whew. That was close.

Leia: Han, no time to leave now. The Empire’s bearing down on us. I count four AT-AT Walkers approaching.

Secrets of Lost #9

Interview met Michelle Rodriguez

She’s been labeled insane, tough, controversial and bisexual. All of these things Michelle Rodriguez can neither confirm nor deny. But Latina’s May cover star does talk openly about her hard partying past, the stereotypes she battles in Hollywood, and what she finds attractive in a mate. Read on for some of Rodriguez’s choice quotes, and pickup the new issue of Latina, on newsstands April 22nd.

On racking up $250,000 in legal fees and serving 18 days in L.A.’s Lynwood Jail:
“It was important for me to get all of that stuff out of the way before I hit 30. It was a bunch of reality checks all at once, like, ‘Wake up, kid, time to get to work.’ Now I feel like I’m being born again.”

On Being Misunderstood:
“I knock on wood that the media will understand me. But if I only saw one percent of my life, I would think the same thing everybody else thinks. So when they don’t get it, I don’t feel lost. My whole thing is, I’m waiting for them to catch up.”

On the Idea of Marriage:
“I don’t believe in commitment. That’s like giving somebody the responsibility of your happiness, like, ‘Here, you make sure that all my orgasms are great, that I have somebody to hold on cold winter nights, and just assure me that if anybody messes with me, you’ll beat them up.’ Other than that, I don’t see the point of marriage. But when I need my love, I get my love.”

On What Attracts Her:
“Hugh Jackman,” she says, stipulating that she likes her men over 35 and with the right mix of brains and brawn. “I can’t stand boys. A boy looks at me like he wants to bang me, and I wanna throw up. I like men, ’cause they’ve been around the block and they respect their mamis. It’s hard to find one that’s not machista.”

On Her Parents:
“My father loved women,” she says of dad Rafael, who died in 1997 of liver failure due to alcoholism. “And my mom, like a smart Dominican woman, used to smell his underwear when he came home to make sure he hadn’t been with someone else.”

On Not Following the Rules in Hollywood:
“If I had done what the powers that be in Hollywood told me to do—‘Do a hot action movie playing the half-naked girlfriend, then do a Maxim cover [which Rodriguez has turned down in the past] and then start a music career to make yourself even hotter’— I’d be making $10 million per movie by now. If I would’ve followed that formula, kissing all the asses along the way, then I’d be there right now. But I wouldn’t be happy because I wouldn’t be living my truth.”

Josh Holloway is oud genoeg om vader te zijn

Today, I was thrilled to read that the witty and charming Josh Holloway, who plays grifter-turned-leader-of-men Sawyer on ABC's Wednesday-night drama "Lost," and wife Yessica Kumala became first-time parents on April 9 with the birth of a daughter, Java Kumala Holloway.

On April 3, I talked to Holloway by phone from the "Lost" location in Hawaii for a syndicated feature story to coincide with the show's 100th episode, airing on April 29 (click here for cast member Jorge Garcia's blog, which contains pictures of the celebratory cake, created by Charm City Cakes of Food Network's "Ace of Cakes").

As it turned out, the conversation took place only days before the blessed event, and luckily I had time to ask Holloway how he felt about being a dad.

Holloway said, "Well, I'm about to find out. We're getting close. It's beyond moving. I can't even describe it to you. I listen to country music and drive my car, and it makes me all teary. I'm like, 'God, I've got to listen to reggae or something, so I'll be happy.'

"It's powerful. Those emotions come up around a child. It's been a lot of fun. It's just been amazing. It's been a really wonderful experience so far. Few more weeks" -- little did he know it would be a few more days -- "I'll be with my sunglasses on, trying to change diapers and avoid getting pooed on."

On this particular Friday, Holloway said that he had one more day of work, which meant that filming would be wrapped up before the birth.

"Yes, that timed out really nicely," he said, "for the wife, for me, because I really want to be there. I don't want to miss that, because it's quite an amazing experience."

Asked if he and his wife were fully equipped at home, Holloway said, "Of course. We're all cocked and ready. We're so ready, it's ridiculous. So far, so good. We're just waiting for the day. She is very ready, and she's been great."

Some of Holloway's fellow cast members are parents, and as to whether they've been giving him advice, he said, "Oh, gosh, whether you seek it or not, you get it. I have heard every story there is from men, women -- oh my goodness -- read all the books and all that.

"Now I'm ready to just do it, and I think that's natural. It's the beauty of nature -- you get that nine months to actually wrap your psyche and heart around what you're about to get into. You have to learn all these things, and then you just have to do it, go on instinct.

"But I'm looking forward to it."

I wondered aloud whether this new-daddy business might make Holloway all mellow.

"I might be," he said, "you never know. Good God knows I'm round at the moment. I'm definitely having a pregnancy with my wife. I'm like, 'Shirt off, I don't think so. No, no, we'll do that next year.' Right now, I'm being a soft Daddy-O."

Speaking of shirts coming off, although Holloway said he was glad that his big TV success came a little later Josh3 in life, there are advantages to youth when the script calls for several shirtless scenes, as Holloway had in this year's season premiere.

"Staying in shape would be a lot easier," he said on that subject. "Not so fun for me, because I'm like 38, 39 -- that would have been better at 25. But, you know, you do what you gotta, and it keeps you in shape, whether you like it or not.

"So it's like, 'All right, I'll do it,' then I made the phone calls, 'Please, guys, don't do that to me anymore.' They broke the back of it this season, and I was like, 'Ya'll, I can't.'"

As for the tan, though, Holloway reveals that was the easy part.

"That's au naturel," he said. "I can get pretty dark. If I have to do a scene of that nature, I just go fishing, hang out on the boat all day. Four or five hours in the sun, you change four or five shades darker. I just did that, and I'm glad I did."

Daniel Dae Kim stopt met MySpace

THE END OF THE EXPERIMENT
Well it lasted much longer than I thought, but alas, after much thought, I have decided to end my MySpace page. Thanks to all of you who helped make my time here so enjoyable. Your comments, blog responses, and photos often brought a smile, and sometimes even a downright chuckle. It's great to know how many loyal fans of the show are out there, and staying faithful to the end.

If you're still interested in reading my blog though, I'll be writing over at my website danieldaekim.com. In fact, look for a new entry in the next couple of days as I prepare to head to London to do "The King and I" at the Albert Hall."

I'll keep this page active for a few days as I wind down, and in a week, it should be gone *poof.*

One final note though, I will be monitoring to make sure no fake profiles of me start going up again, but I won't be able to catch everything. If there's a new page up that doesn't have a new candid photo, along with an intro from me, then you can assume that it's fake. I'll be sure to let you know if and when I return.

Thanks again everyone. It's been a lot of fun communicating with all of you, and most of all, thanks for supporting my work and career.

Mahalo and Aloha!

Josh Holloway is vader

Lost heartthrob Josh Holloway and wife Yessica welcomed a daughter on April 9 in Oahu, PEOPLE has exclusively confirmed. They named their baby girl Java Kumala Holloway.

"Dad and Mom are absolutely thrilled," a source close to the actor, 39, tells PEOPLE. "Everyone's happy and healthy." This is the first child for the couple, who have been married since 2004.

Holloway's Lost costar Daniel Dae Kim knew the actor would enjoy fatherhood. "He'll be an incredible dad," Kim told PEOPLE in February. "When you talk to him about his baby, his face completely lights up."

Ask Lost Part 1: Michael Emerson

zaterdag 4 april 2009

Interview met Michael Emerson

Q: How would you describe your character?

A: Ben is intelligent and he is an operator. He's a great student of psychology and he knows how to work people. He is sometimes very ruthless. We've seen that. Yet, to counterbalance that, we've seen him genuinely grieve the loss of a daughter, probably the loss of his own childhood or the loss of a chance to live a decent romantic life that he sees other people have. And of course he doesn't have a happy relationship with members of the opposite sex, either. So he's kind of alone.

Q: What does it do to you to play role like that all day?

A: Well, you're not meditating on your backstory while you're doing the scenes. You're just sort of playing the moment at hand. And that's more fun. It's like a sport, really, or a kind of gamesmanship. It's good, fun work. It's a character with many layers, which is not what you always expect to get when you go to work in the television industry. So I think I have the best of both worlds. I get to play a character that has all the complexity of a stage character and yet all the visibility and reach of someone that comes in through the little box in people's living rooms.

Q: Can Ben ever be trusted? Is he always looking out for himself or is he looking out for the island?

A: Well, for a long time, I would've said that those were one in the same motives, that his mission was also the island's mission. Now that's gotten more complicated because now Ben is out of favor, out of power. So I think, you can always count on the fact that what Ben says to you will be literally true, in a way. But he's sort of a wickedly effective equivocator. You never know what he really means or how a thing is really going to play out. Yet we've seen him more vulnerably powerless this season. That trend will continue through to the end of the season. Ben is sort of inexplicable. We have to wait and see how it's going to work. It keeps people wondering.

Q: Does it keep you wondering?

A: Yeah, I like that the character is as ambiguous as he is and has always been. And they seem to have figured out a way to keep that going.

Q: He is the character fans love to hate. Is he ever going to have any love interest?

A: I don't see how. I think he hasn't the kind of social maturity or frankly enough time in the day to get focused on someone outside himself. His mission does not allow enough leisure time for romance. This is not to say that he doesn't become attached to people or possessive of them, because we saw that with his relationship with Juliette. But it wasn't going to go anywhere because like most people who have part of their brain very highly developed, I think the other parts of the brain or personality lag behind. He has many gifts. And he is, on some level, a genius, I suppose. But in the field of personal development, he's not very highly evolved. He's immature about relationships.

Q: We now can figure out a little bit about why. You're beaten up in almost every episode.

A: Yeah, I had a few episodes early this season where I got to be cleaned up and spiffed up. It was nice to wear those sort of James Bond kind of clothes and stuff. But of course that's all over now. Now I'm back to my tattered rags and my bleeding face.

Q: So you get to makeup in the morning and you say, "Make me bleed."

A: Yeah. And it feels like who I am now on the show. It's not really Ben if he's not beaten.

Q: And you have to match the wounds from day to day.

A: Oh, they do. They make a little stencil on a sheet of Saran Wrap. And they lay it on my face every day and mark the dots. And the wounds evolve, as they naturally would. A bruise goes from purple to yellow and green to pale pink. Our head makeup guy is a real student of cuts and bruises and how they heal. So it's really interesting. It's quite scientific.

Q: Does everyone ask you about the eyes?

A: I guess I have an effective focus. Completely out of my control, but my eyes are somewhat prominent in my face. So I guess they figure in my work, in the close ups, at least.

Q: When you first walked on that set, could you have imagined that you'd end up with such a central, pivotal part in all of this?

A: Oh, gosh. No. And I'm glad I had no idea at the time or I would've been so nervous I might have made a mess of things. As it was, it was going to be a guest spot, three episodes or so. And I thought, 'Well, I'll go. And I'll do it. And I'll hurry back home. And that will be that.' So I didn't have to get too worked up about it. So it was nice the way it came upon me gradually.

Q: Lost is a little bit like a scary movie — part of you wants to know what's going to happen and part of you doesn't want to know.

A: Exactly. And I think the part of you that wants to say, 'Don't tell,' should prevail because the landscape of our show is a certain set of mysteries. And if you explode those mysteries, then the show becomes unhinged. It doesn't have a place to live anymore.

Q: If I don't watch every single time, I get confused. Do you ever get confused?

A: I watch every time and I get confused. I work on the show and I'm confused. In a way, we have to allow that to happen, give ourselves over to the confusion and keep watching. Maybe things will get clearer.

Q: Do you get stopped when you're in public?

A: Sure, I get stopped everywhere.

Q: What do they say to you? Are little kids scared to come up to you?

A: Well, sometimes they are. Mostly I think people are just sort of delighted to see me. I think my character seems more fictional or unreal to people than some other characters. I think they don't expect to ever actually run into the person that is Ben. So I think people are surprised or taken back a bit, as if he's not supposed to exist outside the TV show.

Josh Holloway over bier

Talking to the Others

Whether he’s playing the role of a brash badass for the fellas or a Southerner with a heart of gold for the ladies, when it comes to fan favorites of ABC’s hit show “Lost,” Sawyer is at the top of the list. With Season Five underway and only two seasons left before the show’s final curtain call, actor Josh Holloway is staying busy and living the high life in the country’s most exotic state: Hawaii. DRAFT caught up with him between takes to learn more about his first beer, living on an island and what exactly is in those Dharma beer cans.

Do you remember your first beer? And do you still pop one open every once in awhile and reminisce?
I do, it was a Miller High Life. It’s the Champagne of Beers. And yes, I still drink it sometimes.

Since moving out to Hawaii, are there any local beers you’re now a fan of?
Well, Dharma beer isn’t all that bad.

What types of beer are your favorites, and what brands can you always count on?
My favorites are pale ales and plain ol’ American beer, because that’s what I grew up drinking. I can always count on Bass, Miller, and Budweiser products.

Any lesser-known beers or microbrews you're a fan of?
I like Fat Tire amber ale and Full Sail.

You’ve been able to travel abroad and help promote the show in other countries. In your travels, were there any beers overseas that you’ve enjoyed but are hard to find in the States?
I’m sure there are, but I can’t remember their names. I must have liked them a little too much.

Bottle or a pint glass?
I like drinking pale ales in a pint glass, but the rest I like drinking out of bottles.

When Sawyer finally gets off the island, what drink will be his first?
A cold draft on tap. Any cold draft on tap.

What can the fans of Sawyer expect for him during Season Five?
Not a lot of beer drinking! There’s a lot of stuff heating up and happening, so viewers can expect a lot of action this next season.

Do you enjoy living on an island?
I love living in Hawaii.

Once the show wraps in 2010, do you think it will be hard for you to move back to Los Angeles?
Moving back to Los Angeles will of course be a transition, but I don’t mind transitions. I like change.

Of course, you had to see this one coming: If you were stranded on a desert island and could have a crate of beer with you, what beer would you choose?
That’s easy: a crate of Bass.

And finally, let us in on a little island secret: What’s really in the Dharma beer cans?
Wouldn’t you like to know?

Damon en Carlton naar Rome

ROME -- "Lost" stewards Damon Lindelof and Carlton Cuse will be feted by the Eternal City's expanding Rome Fiction Fest dedicated to international TV skeins.

The co-creators and executive producers of ABC's hit series will receive the shindig's top nod in recognition of "Lost" as "a milestone in global TV" and "a fundamental reference point for serial production in the upcoming decades," the event's organizers said.

Now in its third edition, the July 6-11 fest for TV fare from Hollywood and Europe aims to become a driver for the burgeoning Italian TV industry. Local content currently runs on pubcaster RAI, Silvio Berlusconi's Mediaset group of channels, and Rupert Murdoch's Sky Italia paybox, but Italo producers aspire to international sales. That is the purpose of the event's embryonic mart, which makes its debut this year.

Artistic director Steve Della Casa said he is planning to sharpen the fest's focus by slimming down the lineup and "giving more prominence to premieres," many of which will hail from the majors.

A retro titled Giallo in Black and White will pay tribute to the golden age of Italian TV thrillers, including several rarely seen Dario Argento telepics produced by RAI.

As previously announced, "CSI:NY" star Hill Harper has been enlisted by the Rome Fiction Fest for jury duty.

Bruce Springsteen heeft meegeholpen aan Lost

Would Microsoft exist if Bill Gates and Paul Allen hadn’t met in a prep-school computer club? And would we be watching “Lost,” and looking ahead to the summer reboot of “Star Trek,” if its creators hadn’t first encountered each other at a fateful Bruce Springsteen concert?

In this audio excerpt from a longer conversation with the brain trust behind “Star Trek” (which we’ll have finished wading through and written up by next month), Damon Lindelof, a creator and executive producer of “Lost” and a producer of “Star Trek,” recalls how he first encountered J.J. Abrams, his “Lost” co-creator and “Star Trek” director, with a little help from the Boss.
